Spring will come
that's what I'm trying to tell myself anyway.

Each day I think "today the weatherman will say it's warming up." And..."the high today will be 75 with plenty of warm sunshine".

So far, not much warm sunshine. Not much sunshine. Not much warmth. Nothing green.
Everything is dirty, brown, blech.

I thought I'd look through previous year's photos to see when the crabapple bloomed, and when things looked green. I was sure it was April.

Then the reality of living in southeast Minnesota hit home....

These pics were taken on May 5th.That's like 5 weeks from now.

Spring will come. Spring will come. Spring will come.

The house was just feeling a bit too wintery for me...I need spring...some changes were in order...

It's an "enchanted egg" made of sugar -- with a surprise inside...
I bought this years ago when our kids were little...it's days are numbered now...
Here....look closer look inside -- isn't it cute?
The actual first day of Spring is a week away...and warm weather even further -- but I have to do something to brighten the days!
