More sewing today...

I also went to a "ladies night" at a home remodeling showroom/stores with my neighbor Alice. We enjoyed looking at all the exhibits and tasting some very good food from local restaurants -- while we sipped wine. We both entered a drawing for a room remodel....could I get lucky in drawings twice???

Tomorrow I have another interview...they called today. I'm not too excited about going, but am just curious enough.

I was offered the decorator job today. I also declined the offer today. Not really what I was expecting, and not enough pay.

Today...

• I interviewed for a decorator position I applied for.
• Shopped for placemats for an order placed at Countryview Cottage
• Bought some sewing notions for orders.
• Made this adorable pool/beach tote for a customer.

I'm really excited about how this tote turned out! As soon as I'm caught up on my orders, I'll be making one for me! It's made from two placemats... ...and lined with a cute polka dot fabric -- cell phone pocket added. The straps only look black - they're actually navy. This tote won't be posted at Countryview Cottage since it's already sold, but there will be others coming!

p.s. interview not so good....pay too low....job not described well in ad.

p.p.s. I'm so tired of the effects of my three colds still lingering. PND is gross!

is keeping me busy...

I'll be making purses this week to fill orders. I'm looking forward to the sewing and shopping for supplies...after a job interview Monday morning. I'll keep you all posted on that.

I made three of these adorable clothespin bags after I couldn't find a pattern for them that I liked! See the others on my Countryview Cottage site. I can hardly wait to hang my laundry out now!
