Our shaggy doggy

Mercy.  This is one pooch that needs a visit to the beauty parlor.  Which two of our children will be happy to know, is happening next week.  Thank you very much.

When Gabby gets a doggy treat, like this rawhide bone, we have entertainment.
First, there's the cigar stance . . .

then, the "don't ya dare think about taking this from me ...."

and, "don't I look cute with this treat?"

and the "eyeballin ya" . . .

Chew, chew, chew.
"Pose-able thumbs sure would be helpful."

Determination to finish . . .

Considering the option of burying it in the couch  . . .

opting to keep at it . . .

 Last bite.

mmmmmmm.  "can I have another?"
One of these days I plan to take a video of her burying her bone.  It is so cute.  and funny.
Trouble is, she is very private about her burying and doesn't like people to see where she is hiding her treasure.  If Gabster thinks you've seen her in the act, she will take the treasure and go somewhere else -- out of sight.

I can't imagine my life without a dog in it.
Do you have a dog?  Do you want one?

  1. Dont have one, don't want one but I love yours, and love reading about what she's up to. If I had a dog I would want one like Gabby...Such a cute and funny dog she is.

  2. That is so funny. She has a lot of character :)

  3. Reading this post definitely makes me want a dog even more than I already do! It also makes me miss your other furball :(
