A moment to play

The kids were playing together nicely this evening, which allowed me to get quite a bit more done than usual.

So I baked a batch of oatmeal-craisin cookies, cleaned up the baking mess, wrapped a gift, did a couple loads of laundry (and put them away), straightened up a few rooms -- as in putting away things that should have been put away right the first time -- we struggle with that around here.

After I did ALL the above I allowed myself a little playtime.  My darling Mr. DIY helped me download some Actions to my new Photoshop program this evening.  I took a few minutes to try some of the Actions  --

I'm diggin' this

This photo....yeah, I didn't take it.
I found it when I downloaded the photos from my camera.
I'm guessing the photographer to be
#1 son or my Mr.

I like it.
I love them.

  1. I'm going to have to say nice picture #1 Son. :)

  2. Cheri,

This is my first visit to your sweet blog but I will be returning! I think we all struggle with others putting things away after being used. I have to do a daily 'sweep' before I can actually start cleaning.
I love your sweet chicks. Do they require a lot of care? Do you have them in a fenced coop?

  3. That is a gorgeous picture!! Love it love it.
