Newbie

Lots of "NEW" for me today.
New to riding the bus to work . . .
New person at work . . .at my new job . . .
Nice to be NEW and to be taken out to lunch here . . .
Day one at NEW job.....I survived.
SO much to learn......the new "jargon" of architects -- new procedures, new people, new office, new techniques, new transportation.
It's humbling to feel stupid, and "new" on the job.
I was SO tired today, and overwhelmed.  But I'm liking the people I work with, and the job.  It will get easier, and better.  Right?

  2. Cheri, I felt the same exact way when I started my new job in May and I still kinda feel that way, but it's WAY better than when I started. Before long you'll be a pro, that beginning stuff is tough though, but you can do it!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Congratulations, Mom on the first day of work. I hate starting new jobs too, and i have in the past stayed at a job i didn't really like for longer than i planned just so I wouldn't have to go through the whole process of being the "newbie," as you put it, at work.

It would be cool if you could find out if I could do a "shadow" type thing with one of the architects you now work with, since the 'subject' or rather the subject matter still really interests me, and it would be cool to see what they really do!

by the way, my word verification was "stabl" most appropriate for Christmas time! 'stable' haha.
