HuHot Night Out
A fabulous new restaurant opened in town called HuHot. It's a Mongolian grill. Did I mention it is fabulous? Tonight we met two other couples for dinner at this amazing food venue. I'll show you the ropes so when you go, you'll know just what to do.

First you pick up your bowl at the beginning of the food "row". See the yellow bowl in Lynn's hand? Everyone looks pretty excited about the food don't they?

Then, it's time to choose your meat, if you want one. There's chicken, beef, pork, sausage, shrimp, calamari, cod, crab, scallops to choose from. Pick as many or as much as you'd like...but remember you can go back up again!

Next you can have noodles if you'd like. Or not. There's two kinds of noodles. Both are good. See the shrimp, calamari and scallops on the right there? That's what I pick! Then you add your vegetables...baby corn, celery, water chestnuts, squash, broccoli, onion, mushroom, sprouts, green peppers, pineapple...
tofu, tomatoes, jalapenos, potatoes, cilantro, peas, carrots...
Then you walk past the glass coolers stacked with containers of chopped veggies...
Then you get to pick sauces, oils, juices, broths....from mild to HOT! I like it hot. You put on 5-7 ladles of this stuff....go ahead, mix them together. I like the hot sauces and oils so I use the peanut sauce, hot szechuan, garlic oil, lime juice, hot chili, soy, and a few others. I like to use 7 ladles of sauce then the final dish isn't dry. One warning here is you don't want more than 2 ladles of the oil...
After your sauces are on, your bowl is pretty full. So you take it to the grill just a few steps away...

And the grill masters plop your bowl contents on the grill and begin the cooking process. Several different "bowls" are being cooked on the grill at the same time. It's pretty cool to watch. Then they serve it to you on a plate. So your bowl is gone and you now have a plate full of yummy food to eat. (Sorry, no picture of the plate of food, I was so excited about eating my creation that I forgot to take a picture!)

Remember....no more than 2 ladles of oil .... or you'll get the HuHot Squats!
